One really frustrating thing for me about Los Angeles is that between smog and all the lights, it is impossible to see much of the night sky. That is why I relish every chance I get to get away from the city lights and see the stars again. One of the best places to do that is where I picked my for my "J" adventure. J is for Joshua Tree National Park.
As the saying goes, a picture is worth a 1000 words. Forgive my laziness for this and enjoy the pictures for I am using them instead of words today.

And just to add one more thing in, I saw this video a while back for a timeplapse of the night sky taken in Joshua Tree. I fell in love. If you have seen it, I say it is worth seeign again. If not, enjoy.
